It describes what data we collect, what we use it for, under what conditions we may share it with third parties, how we store your data, protect it against misuse and what rights you have with regard to your personal data. For questions about our privacy policy, you can contact our privacy contact person, whose details can be found at the end of this policy.
Purpose of Data Processing
General purpose of the processing
We only use your data to provide our services. This means that the processing of your data is always directly related to the assignment you have given us. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing, and if we use your data to contact you at a later time, we explicitly ask for your permission. Your data will not be shared with third parties, except to meet accounting and administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality based on an agreement with us, an oath or legal obligation.
Permission
How do we obtain your consent? When you provide personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific purpose only. If we ask for your personal information for other reasons, such as marketing, we will either ask for your consent directly or provide you with an opportunity to decline. How do you withdraw your consent? If you change your mind after you register, you may withdraw your consent for us to collect, use or disclose your information at any time by contacting us at info@kruidenland.nl.
Automatically Collected Information
Information that is automatically collected by our website is used to further improve our services. This data, such as your IP address, web browser and operating system, is not personal data.
Collaboration with Fiscal and Criminal Investigation
If required by law, Kruidenland may be required to share your information with government agencies for tax or criminal investigations. In such a situation, we will oppose the sharing of your information within the legal possibilities.
Your Rights
According to the applicable Dutch and European legislation, you as a data subject have specific rights with regard to your personal data that is processed by us or on our behalf. Below we explain what these rights are and how you can exercise these rights. In order to prevent abuse, we will in principle only send transcripts and copies of your data to the e-mail address known to us. If you wish to receive the data at a different e-mail address or, for example, by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep an administration of processed requests. In the event of a request to be forgotten, we register anonymized data. All transcripts and copies of data are provided in the readable format that we use within our systems. You always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you believe that we are using your personal data incorrectly.
Right of inspection
You always have the right to view the data that we process and that applies to you or can be traced back to you. You can submit a request for access to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a copy of all data to the e-mail address known to us, including an overview of the processors who process this data, stating the category in which we have stored this data.
Right of rectification
You always have the right to have the data that we process and that applies to you or can be traced back to you, corrected. You can submit a request for rectification to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation that the data has been adjusted to the e-mail address known to us.
Right to Restriction of Processing
You always have the right to limit the processing of data that applies to you or can be traced back to you. You can submit a request for limitation to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to the e-mail address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the limitation.
Right to Portability
You always have the right to transfer the data that applies to you or can be traced back to you to another party. You can submit a request for portability to our privacy contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies of all data about you that we have processed or that has been processed by other processors or third parties on our behalf to the e-mail address known to us. In that case, we may not be able to continue our services because the secure linking of data files can no longer be guaranteed.
Right to Object and Other Rights
In certain cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by Kruidenland or on behalf of Kruidenland. If you object, we will immediately stop processing your data pending the handling of your objection. If your objection is justified, we will provide you with transcripts and/or copies of the processed data and then permanently stop processing. Furthermore, you have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in a way that makes this right applicable. If you believe that this is the case, please contact our privacy contact person.
