Ashwagandha Latte (Moon Milk)
Ingredients (for 1 serving):
- 1 cup (250 ml) almond milk (or other plant-based milk of choice)
- 1/2 teaspoon ashwagandha powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric (optional, for added health benefits)
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (for sweetness, adjust to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- A pinch of ground nutmeg or cardamom (for extra flavor, optional)
Instructions:

Heat the milk: Pour the almond milk into a saucepan and heat over low heat. Do not let it boil, but make sure it gets nice and hot.

Mix the spices: Add the ashwagandha powder, cinnamon, turmeric (if using), and a pinch of nutmeg or cardamom to the milk. Whisk well so that there are no lumps.

Sweeten: Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the honey or maple syrup and vanilla extract.

Frothing (optional): Use a milk frother or whisk to give the drink a frothy texture.
